Many people have been asking us about the changes to medicals during this unprecedented situation and how to go about fulfilling this requirement for their visa.
Obviously due to the recent outbreak of coronavirus, Bupa’s usual visa medical system has been thrown into disarray. They are however, still operating and undertaking the examinations with a new system in place.
Existing bookings
Bupa will contact you if your appointment needs to be rescheduled. They are also working through existing bookings which were cancelled.
New bookings
You will need to fill out their online appointment form. From here your case will be assessed in order of urgency according to information from the Department of Home Affairs. You will then be assigned a time and Bupa will contact you.
It is stressed that if you have any signs of COVID-19, have recently arrived back from overseas, been in contact with someone who has returned or had COVID-19, you must not attend and instead seek medical care from the proper authorities on the matter.
