New Occupations Added To Priority Skilled Occupation List (PSMOL)

A little bit of good news!

Auditors, chefs, amongst others have been added to the Priority Skilled Occupation list – altogether 22 occupations have been added, including chefs and accountants.

There are now 41 occupations on the list and visa applicants in these occupations will be accorded priority visa processing.

According to the AFR, Immigration Minister Alex Hawke said the government had “received valuable feedback from Australian business stakeholders on critical skill vacancies, which has been considered together with data from the National Skills Commission”.
