Business Visas

Australia offers a range of business visa options to successful business people and investors who would like to move to Australia and set up a new business, bring over an existing business or carry on investment activity in Australia.

Business visas to Australia are obtained through the Department of Immigration and Border Protection’s (DIBP) Business Innovation and Investment Program. This program is designed to encourage successful business people and investors to settle in Australia and carry on business and investment activity in Australia.

The business Innovation and Investment Program is a state or territory government nomination program which means that successful business visa applicants must first be nominated by a state or territory government for a business visa.
