A quick update today, this week, Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison did a reshuffle of three of his senior Cabinet members.
Peter Dutton who has been the Australian Immigration minister for the last 3.5 years has now been moved to head up the Department of Defence. In his place, the new Immigration Minister is Karen Andrews.
Karen Andrews was previously the Minister of Industry, Science and Technology.
Already, there are calls for Andrews to take a look at some of Australia’s most prominent migration cases with a set of fresh eyes.
