Subclass 802 Child Visa

The subclass 802 Child visa allows a child of an Australian permanent resident or a citizen or eligible New Zealand citizen, who does not have Australian permanent residence, who is in Australia to remain in Australia and live permanently with the child’s parent(s).

The child must be single and be under 18 years of age, or be a full-time student between the ages of 18 and 25 or if 18 or older, be unable to work due to a disability.
